Lèa é uma cidadã do mundo. Talvez esta seja a melhor forma de definir a artista santista, originária do efervescente estado de São Paulo, que percorreu grande parte do litoral brasileiro — do Sul ao Nordeste — compartilhando sua arte e seus conhecimentos, ao mesmo tempo em que mergulhava em culturas diversas. Esses territórios têm em comum um rico acervo de garimpo musical, que influencia diretamente sua pesquisa sonora.

Seus trabalhos anteriores são marcados por linhas expressivas de guitarra e baixo, como no EP MNemônia (2024), da artista miXa, além de trilhas sonoras para curtas-metragens e composições voltadas à linguagem documental no cinema.

 

Iniciou sua carreira como DJ em Florianópolis, em 2021, levando para a pista suas vivências itinerantes e explorando afluentes da genealogia musical brasileira. Seus garimpos sonoros contam histórias que dialogam com ritmos de ponto de rezo, beats latino-africanos, brasilidades, influências do hip hop, dub, jazzy,  funky norte-americano e remixes de funk carioca, além de vertentes da house music.

Lèa is a citizen of the world. Perhaps this is the best way to define the artist from Santos, originally from the vibrant state of São Paulo, who has traveled extensively along the Brazilian coast — from the South to the Northeast — sharing her art and knowledge while immersing herself in diverse cultures. These territories share a rich tradition of musical digging and discovery, which directly influences her sonic research.

Her previous works are marked by expressive guitar and bass lines, such as on the EP MNemônia (2024) by the artist miXa, as well as soundtracks for short films and compositions rooted in the documentary language of cinema.

She began her career as a DJ in Florianópolis in 2021, bringing her itinerant experiences to the dance floor and exploring tributaries of Brazilian musical genealogy. Her sonic excavations tell stories that dialogue with ritual chant rhythms, Afro-Latin beats, Brazilian grooves, hip hop influences, dub, jazzy, North American funky, remixes of Rio’s funk carioca, and various strands of house music.
